How it all started....
Leumas Foundation Int'l Inc. was conceived in 2006 by a group of socio-civic oriented individuals who are gainfully employed by multi-national corporation along the famous Ayala Avenue in Makati City. It all started over few bottles of beer enjoying the happy hours everyday after 6:00pm, when the group decided to save their money for the daily happy hours and instead, to create funds to help the less fortunate Filipinos in the slums and rural areas. The concept of creating a foundation came into being, with their only concern is to serve the community, provide whatever assistance its resources can ably meet to provide educational assistance to improve the living conditions of the less fortunate brothers and sisters in the highly depressed areas.
The primary objective and purpose for which the foundation was organized is to provide educational assistance, to engage in the development and upliftment of community constituents fostering unity among residents through cooperative organization and management, to provide the link to micro-capital assistance for livelihood development in order to create livelihood projects that will uplift the social standards of the beneficiaries in their communities. with education as its foremost concern.
The foundation is continuously sourcing out financial assistance, donations, aids and grants from all sectors of society in order to provide continuous livelihood programs and educational assistance to its more than 40 existing scholars in the secondary and tertiary levels. These education and scholarship assistance is not limited only to the full tuition and miscellaneous school fees, but including the cost of uniform, books, school projects and laboratory fees and monthly stipends.
Leumas Foundation is not limited only to livelihood and educational programs but include the most important aspect of every human being in the society and environment of the community they reside. Health is one major aspect that the foundation cannot just let it go. Thus, the foundation through the assistance and cooperation of the Medical Society practitioners and the pharmaceutical manufacturers, provide periodic Free Medical and Dental Missions to its beneficiary-communities.

* To provide continuous educational trainings on the kind of livelihood that it shall support and finance through micro-lending operations with conduit banks and financial institutions it shall tap;
* To see to it that every citizen in the community is healthy, supported and provided with health care trainings on personal hygiene and cleanliness of the environment which is a deterrence to any sickness that oftentimes when neglected is the root cause of ailments and epidemics in the community;
* To tap every resources locally and abroad, in support for the scholarship programs of the foundation, in order to continuously provide better education to the less fortunate but deserving students in every community;
* To provide not only livelihood programs to the community it serves, but to develop and expand other kinds of livelihood that can provide employment to others;
* To see to it that scholar who have achieved and accomplished their chosen field shall be provided assistance towards seeking stable and good-paying employment locally and/or abroad;
